Shane McRae is an American actor and University of Evansville alumnus best known for portraying Knox in the Apple TV science-fiction series Silo. His career has included major television series, Hollywood films, Broadway productions, and other professional theater work.
Although McRae was not born in Evansville, the city played an important role in his development as an actor. He transferred to the University of Evansville, where he studied theatre and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) before continuing his training at New York University’s prestigious Graduate Acting Program.
