Paul Osborn (September 4, 1901 – May 12, 1988) was an American playwright and screenwriter who was born in Evansville, Indiana. His family later moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he was raised.

Osborn became a successful Broadway playwright, best known for Morning’s at Seven, which has been repeatedly revived and became a classic of American theater.

He also wrote or adapted numerous Hollywood films, including East of Eden, The Yearling, Sayonara and the film adaptation of South Pacific. His career spanned more than five decades across Broadway, film and television.
