Kate Endress is a former professional basketball player and entrepreneur who grew up in Evansville, Indiana. She played in the WNBA and later became the founder of the technology company DITTO.

Evansville and basketball career

Endress attended Reitz Memorial High School in Evansville, where she starred in basketball and was named a 2001 Indiana All-Star after averaging 25.9 points and 8.4 rebounds as a senior.

She continued her career at Ball State University, becoming one of the top players in program history. In 2005, Endress was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Year and ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American of the Year. She graduated summa cum laude and finished her Ball State career with 1,843 points.

Endress was selected in the 2005 WNBA Draft and played for the Connecticut Sun.

Business career

After basketball, Endress worked in finance and earned an MBA from Stanford University. She later founded DITTO, a technology company that developed virtual try-on technology for eyewear. DITTO was acquired by eyewear company 1-800 Contacts in 2019.

Endress has since continued her career as an entrepreneur, investor and business executive.
