Ron Geary (born 1947) is an American businessman and attorney with longtime ties to Evansville, Indiana. He is best known locally as the former owner of the Ellis Park Race Course in nearby Henderson, Kentucky.
Geary earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville and later received a law degree from Indiana University. He built a career in law, business and government, including serving as Kentucky’s Secretary of Revenue.
In 2006, Geary purchased Ellis Park from Churchill Downs and operated the historic racetrack for more than a decade. He later sold his remaining interest in the track in 2019. His ownership helped preserve Ellis Park as an important part of the Evansville-Henderson region’s horse-racing history.
