Jace Everett (born May 27, 1972) is an American singer-songwriter and musician born in Evansville, Indiana. His music blends country, rock, blues and Americana.

Everett began his recording career in Nashville and released his self-titled debut album in 2005. He is best known for the song “Bad Things,” which became the opening theme for the HBO television series True Blood. The song brought Everett international recognition and earned him a Broadcast Music Incorporated (BMI) award.

Everett has continued recording and touring, releasing numerous albums and building a following in the United States and Europe.
